Volunteer Booking Form
Coed Talylan is a remote woodland on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons (google: SA19 9DR).
Volunteers stay in or near our A-framed guest lodge either camping or sleeping in the lodge depending on circumstances. Work is varied but everything you might expect in building up a small holding.

We are all former WWOOF volunteers and now pleased to be WWOOF hosts. As such we are careful to follow their guidelines, which can be read in full here:

Similarly, we expect volunteers to also adhere the requirements of joining WWOOF as a volunteer (although you might not actually be a member) which can be read here:

All food is provided and accommodation is camping (tents can be provided) or staying in the guest lodge depending on circumstance (for instance, number of volunteers of if we are running a course/event).
We can cater for all dietary requirements.
It must be noted that the work involved is physical and outdoors and may involve the use of tools and working around machinery.
You will need to bring clothes and footwear for all weather conditions but safety equipment such as gloves will be provided.

If you are travelling by public transport we can arrange a pick-up from Llangadog.

Hours Worked:

6 hours per day (with one hour for lunch)

Daily schedule:

9 - 10:30: Work

10:30 - 10:45: Tea break

10:45 - 1pm: Work

1pm - 2pm: Lunch

2pm - 4pm Work

We want to make the best use of our time so we expect volunteers to be able to keep to the daily schedule.

Alongside the daily tasks we also must work together to keep the shared spaces and facilities clean and tidy.

All volunteers must make their expectations for their stay at Coed Talylan clear before arriving. This booking form provides the opportunity to do this.
