Haudenosaunee & Indigenous Matrilineality Symposium -- Call for Proposals
We invite proposals for the Haudenosaunee & Indigenous Matrilineality Symposium that will take place on February 28th - March 2, 2025 at Syracuse University on Onondaga Lands in the heart of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy

The symposium seeks to bring together Indigenous scholars and allies, including traditional practitioners, culture bearers, artists, and students to share Indigenous and matrilineal values as a praxis to address critical global social and environmental issues. We welcome submissions from a wide range of disciplines and perspectives.

As an Indigenous knowledge centered symposium, we welcome traditional Indigenous knowledge. Presentations from across all disciplines are welcomed and encouraged. Matrilineality refers to a way of living. Presentations, participation and attendance is open to all genders.

Hosted by Rematriation 501(c)(3) and Syracuse University's Center for Global Indigenous Cultures and Environmental Justice
