The Danish National Commission for UNESCO, UNHCR and Globalt Fokus, cordially invite you to the launch of the 2019 Global Education Monitoring Report (GEM Report): Migration, Displacement & Education: Building Bridges, Not Walls.
The GEM 2019 Report continues its assessment of progress towards Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) on education and its ten targets, as well as other related education targets in the SDG agenda. Join us for an interesting afternoon and become more aware of education perspectives in the context of migration and displacement – globally, as well as on a Danish national level. We have invited experts with practical experience and policy-makers in the field of education and development assistance.
Watch film clips from the prize-winning Danish documentary “At Home in the World” on children on the move and witness the significance of education for their lives here and now and in the future – no matter where the future will take place. The film will be introduced by the director Andreas Kofoed and the teacher in the film Dorthe Ortved.
When registrating here you will automatically receive an email confirmating your registration.
REMEMBER to bring an ID with photo to enter the UN City AND to arrive early to avoid queue at the security.
