This form is to Express Your Interest in the above programme, and to tell us more about yourself, so that we can assess your eligibility to access support on this scheme. The programme is specifically aimed at those who have previously been unsuccessful at gaining a place on Screen Skills programmes such as Trainee Finder (Early Career), Make a Move and High End TV Step-up programmes. The programme will also offer support to those who have been on programmes (such as First Break) and then found it difficult to progress. Getting In and Getting On will offer:
*1-2-1 online mentoring sessions to enable you to talk through your options, and provide action plans for moving forward (100 places available)
*In person events and training covering workshops in key areas of need delivered by industry trainers, along with evening networking sessions with industry professionals. These events will take place in Manchester (March 2024), Bristol (May 2024), Leeds (June 2024), Birmingham (July 2024) and Newcastle (September 2024)
If you are selected to join the programme, you will receive an email confirming your participation and details of how to book your one-to-one session. You will automatically be selected for the networking sessions, with further details of the face to face events circulated in early 2024. You can select on this form if you want to attend the online 1-2-1, the in person training and networking or BOTH.
The more you can tell us about your needs, the more we are able to provide the right support. Please take time to complete this form, and fill out all the sections accordingly.
