We are looking for a team of committed members to help us strengthen the communication within the Mt. Zion Baptist Church children, youth and young adult community.

Responsibilities

Connect new members to children, youth and young adult ministries
Contribute to the communications efforts of the children, youth and young adult ministries
Inform members about upcoming trainings, events and meetings
Assist with parent engagement
Share members’ events, such as sporting events and graduations, so that members can attend and support one another

Qualifications

Committed member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church
Cares deeply about effective communication
Generally understands how communication systems work
Strong writing skills (may include emails, social media, text messages, etc.)
Pays attention to detail

Useful Skills (but not necessary)

Experience with mass text messaging platforms
Experience with post and email scheduling
Experience in Canva, Photoshop or other editing software
Photography
Journalism
