Volunteering is a great opportunity to see and be part of the inner workings of a MUTEK.AE. Behind the magic, there are usually lots of people running around making the event run smoothly and safely. Volunteering is a great way of getting some work experience in an exciting and challenging environment.
GOOD TO KNOW
Dates: May 4-5, 2024
Venue: Alserkal Avenue
Duty: Every volunteer has to work a predetermined number of hours at a festival. In some cases, your schedule will start before the festival days.
Working Hours: On average, we are expecting volunteers to help 4 to 5 hours a day. This can vary but we inform you in advance in any case.
Event Attendance: We try our best to make your schedule in a way that you have enough time to visit 1-1 concerts at the festival.
Benefits: All the benefits are included in the volunteer contract which include event passes for Nocturne and swag.
Payment: There are no financial benefits for volunteering.
POSITIONS
Entrance Assistants: The Entrance Assistant’s task is to make the entrance of the visitors to the event as smooth as possible. This assistant is confident and able to handle a challenge with a sense of calmness.
Information Assistants: The Information Assistant is a volunteer who smiles, communicates easily in foreign languages and always has just the right answer to every question. If you may not only help at the Info desks but may work on several tasks that require customer service skills.
Program Venue Assistant: The Program Venue Assistant is one of the most active jobs at the program venues. Be it day programs, helping the work of stage masters, or informing the visitors who arrive for the concerts at night, we can always count on the Program Venue Assistants!
Artist Handling: Artist handling is all about the details. Helping with personal arrangements for the artist including restaurants, transportation, the hospitality, adding a personal touch if possible.
Administration: Support on many areas of festival administration. Experience preferred but raining provided.
