What you need to know
These areas are important area for wintering big game as well as a host of other gamebirds, songbirds and small mammals. You will likely see several deer if you participate in this project!

The weather will be cold with potentially frozen ground.

There is a restroom available at the Boise River WMA HQ but it will be a distance from the actual planting site.

We provide seed and seed bags. If you have a frame backpack, either old-style or a newer internal frame, bring it along to hike seed bags to the top of the hill. Bring straps to connect the seed bags to your pack.

Come prepared with layers of clothes for the weather and hiking/work boots. This project requires hiking and working on steep terrain for some participants and there are areas that are not as steep for volunteers that would like to stay on lower-angle terrain.

What you should bring
Please bring plenty of layered clothing for cold weather. You should bring a lunch and water in a daypack if you are not carrying a larger backpack. Hand warmers and toe warmers would be a good idea to bring along. Snacks and some drinks will be provided.
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
