Thank you for your interest in Teaching Buddies! Our mission is to make sure that students in grades 1-8, especially those who were most negatively impacted by COVID (Including but not limited to: POC, Low-Income, Diverse Learner, single-parent students, and students whose main parent/guardian are essential workers) will receive individualized support and build their critical reading and writing skills.
Currently, we have our college student volunteers teach free classes of around 1-5 students in pairs weekly over ZOOM. The students will be reading, discussing, and writing together to practice critical reading, writing, and thinking skills. Our application forms will open soon but in the mean time, please indicate your interest in our program here to get our application form as soon as it opens!
