Membership Notes
Newly elected members must attend six monthly meetings and participate in most fundraisers in order to be considered part of the voting membership. New members will be eligible to vote at the 7th regular meeting they attend.
Act 33/34 requirements: in an effort to protect the children of the community and the DABA organization all active Members will be required to receive ACT 33/34 clearance. For all newly elected Members,the application for clearance must be submitted to the appropriate governing body prior to the Member attending any meeting or other function of the DABA. All newly elected Members will remain in a probationary status for a period of six months,(the probation period per Section 4 of the Constitution) and such status will not be released without the clearance being obtained. If, at any time during the probation period, it is confirmed that the new Member did not receive ACT 33/34 clearance, the Member will be removed from DABA.
