Referendum 2021: Feedback and questions
Residents of Anoka-Hennepin will have the opportunity to weigh in on three questions on or before Nov. 2. If approved, the referendum would provide funds for Anoka-Hennepin to maintain stability in schools by continuing to adequately staff schools and classrooms to address and improve class size; focus on success for students by maintaining technology tools and program opportunities; and support students by maintaining and improving mental health services along with social-emotional and academic resources.

The district will host community events at five locations in the school district this fall to ensure residents are informed about the impact for schools and students in the community.

The information sessions will be structured with an open house style format that begins with a presentation from Superintendent Law at 6:30 p.m. followed by the opportunity for residents to view informational displays and ask questions of staff members. Attendees will have the opportunity to record questions on computer kiosks so they can be answered accurately and also be included in the Q and A on the Referendum 2021 website for other residents to view: ahschools.us/vote2021.
