2022-2023 Avon Youth Wrestling Registration
The 2021-2022 youth wrestling season starts November 2nd (tentatively) . The Avon Youth Wrestling Club is a terrific opportunity for your child to participate in and enjoy “the world’s oldest sport”. Wrestling builds self-esteem, instills confidence, and develops discipline and physical fitness in a way that is fun and satisfying.  With 20 different weight classes, you do not need to be the biggest or the tallest to succeed. In wrestling, kids practice with and compete against other kids their own size, so it’s safe and fair.

Practice Schedule starting November 2nd:

Starting Sunday December 4th and running through February we will once again be competing in the Buckeye Wrestling association. These competitions take place on Sundays typically at Lutheran West or other area schools. And they are geared for all levels of experience. More information will be given the first week of practice.

All practices are held in the wrestling room at Avon High School.

If you have an interest but are not quite sure, we will be hosting a wrestling night/clinic at the high school wrestling room on Wednesday October 26th 6:00PM to 6:45PM.  This is a free opportunity to learn some basic wrestling and meet the youth coaches. You can also pay for the season at that time if you register for youth wrestling here.
