If you are in 12th grade in West Jefferson High School you can fill out this application to join Escalera for the 2024 - 2025 school year. All information will be kept strictly confidential and used only for the purposes of the Escalera program.
What is Escalera?
Escalera is a free program for Latine youth in high school to explore the possibilities for post-secondary education, careers and jobs after graduating high school. Escalera supports students with:
- Applications to universities, community colleges and technical programs
- Assistance with scholarship applications and FAFSA to help pay for post secondary education
- Professional development, including resume writing and exploring careers
- Connection to internship opportunities
- Field trips and hands-on learning, including local college visits
The Escalera instructor will contact each student and their parent/caregiver listed below to confirm their enrollment in Escalera.
