Language is best learned through social interaction and meaningful activities. Our highly-trained, caring teachers provide an enriching environment and engaging curriculum that immerses the children in Chinese language and culture. Students will have academic Mandarin lessons as well as fun activities related to Chinese culture and history, such as Chinese calligraphy, art and crafts, etc. The students will acquire Mandarin language and literacy skills through songs, poems, chants and stories.

Class Two (2nd – 4th Grade):

Class Three (4th – 5th Grade):
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday | 8:15–9:15 AM

MJCLC Mandarin classes at Clarendon follow the SFUSD calendar and are held only on regular school days.
Please note: There will be no classes during parent-teacher conference week if a classroom is unavailable.
Tuition and Fees 学费

Fall Semester: $1,150
Spring Semester (58 sessions): $1,310
Drop-in Rate: $30-35/hour depending on the number of hours attended

Discounts:

Early Bird Discount for returning students: $60 per semester paid by June 15
Sibling Discount: $25 per semester

A non-refundable registration fee of $60 per student is required at the start of each school year.

The tuition charge is based on a full school year and is a prorated annual fee. It is not reduced by the child’s days off due to illness, injury, vacation, or holiday. Once enrolled, the parent/guardian is unconditionally obligated to remit payment.

100% deposit refund 3 weeks before the start of the session. 50% deposit refund 2 days before the start of the session. No deposit refund on or less than two days before the session starts. There is no make up class.
