July 28 City of Naperville Energy Workshop

On Monday July 28, the City of Naperville is hosting a workshop to review and discuss various priorities, key considerations and strategies for our city's long term energy options. The workshop is open to the public.  Your support by joining us will help send a strong signal to City Council, City Leadership team and the speakers at the event that the people, organizations, and businesses of Naperville want clean, affordable modern energy.

The Mayor, City Council and key members of the City Leadership team will receive presentations from: Consultants Townsend, Pruitt and CES, Naperville Environment and Sustainability Task Force and The Public Utilities Advisory Board

No final action can be taken at the workshop.  The City Council is expected to vote on the IMEA extension at the August 19 City Council Meeting.

The Say No To Coal Alliance includes the Naperville Environment and Sustainability Task Force (NEST), First Congregational United Church of Christ Naperville, Green Scene, Clean Energy Alliance of Naperville (CLEAN), Climate Reality Chicago, Accelerate Climate Solutions, Congregation Beth Shalom, League of Women Voters of Naperville, Sierra Club River Prairie Group, Putting the Public Back in Public Power and countless concerned Naperville residents.
