The 2014 Good Jobs Green Jobs Conference will be on Monday, April 13 in Washington, DC and will be focused on Energizing America—building up our electrical infrastructure to reduce waste, address climate change, and create family-sustaining jobs. There will also be space available on Tuesday, April 14 for additional side meetings with allies and partners. For more details on the conference, please visit: www.greenjobsconference.org (NOTE: please do not register on the website, as we will have a Sierra Club discount available).
This year we are working to maximize participation while staying within our limited budget. For that reason, we will be covering the full cost of registration for successful applicants, but asking applicants associated with chapters and national campaigns to cover the costs of their own lodging and travel. We will have some financial support available to those who would otherwise be financially unable to participate, especially youth, members of Environmental Justice communities and volunteers.
Please submit your application before Tuesday, February 17. We will be in touch with each applicant individually. If you have any questions, please contact Ali Blumenstock and Hillary Bright at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. Thank you for your interest!
