PCA seeks to pursue the glory of God and the good of His people by providing a classical and Christian education founded upon a Biblical worldview, which equips students to know, love and practice the Truth and challenges them to strive for excellence as they live purposefully in service to God and man.

At Providence, we believe that humanity is created in the image of God. Therefore, we are to reflect the character of God in our lives and reveal that character through doing His will.  Providence Classical Academy is committed to educating the whole person - spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.  Through the teaching, mentoring, and nurturing of each student, Providence Classical Academy is dedicated to encouraging a lifestyle that reflects and reveals God's character.

For many, classical education evokes a range of different thoughts.  In order to understand what we intend by classical education, we encourage you to read The Lost Tools of Learning by Dorothy Sayers and Classical Education by Gene Edward Veith, Jr. and Andrew Kern.  To better understand our philosophy regarding discipline and training, you may want to read Shepherding a Child's Heart by Tedd Tripp (for Lower School mindset to nurturing students) and The Age of Opportunity by Paul David Tripp (for Upper School students).
