I declare that I have autonomy in the sport of canyoning and for individual progression in canyons, mastering the various progression techniques and for overcoming the various types of obstacles that may present themselves in this progression (abseiling, climbing and de-climbing, swimming and floating, among others). I declare that I have the necessary equipment for the practice of canyoning and master its use in the various situations that may arise in the practice of canyoning, assuming the risk if any. *
I declare that I know that the practice of canyoning in canyons located within the Aparados da Serra and Serra Geral National Park will be subject to prior authorization from the aforementioned conservation units and to strict compliance with the rules for the practice of activities in its interior. *
The canyons located within the Aparados da Serra and Serra Geral parks are large. The geological formation is of volcanic origin, the canyons in this region have a depth approaching one thousand meters and the extension can reach 7.5 kilometers, they are characterized by steep slopes and numerous waterfalls, often with dimensions exceeding 60 meters. These imposing environments are extremely demanding, so that practitioners of this modality must be physically, technically and psychologically prepared to be able to progress in autonomy and safety during the RIC Brazil 2022. *
