Thank you for your interest in joining HAP.  To start the application process we ask each prospective member to complete the inquiry form.  Membership applications will be reviewed and voted on by the Board on a monthly basis.

 In order to qualify for membership, each member must be Houston-based and meet one of the following criteria:

1.     Produced a feature-length motion picture that was distributed theatrically or on a streamer

2.     Produced a scripted or unscripted series for broadcast television or premium streamer

3.     Produced a made-for-television movie or miniseries for PayTV cable network or streamer

4.     Produced 5 commercials with minimum budget of $250,000

5.     Produced a live televised event

6.     Produced digital content with a reach of 50,000 unique users

7.     Own and/or operate a Houston-based production studio or post production facility

8.     Professionals with unique experience outside the production industry that could benefit our organization. These include but are not limited to investors, executive producers, attorneys, real estate developers, accountants, PR/marketing executives, lobbyists and venture capitalists.

 

Members may have such other qualifications as the Board may prescribe by amendment

to these Bylaws.
