2014 Virginia Film Festival Volunteer Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 27th Annual Virginia Film Festival, to be held November 6-9, 2014.  We could not put this Festival on each year without your tireless help and continued support.  

As a 2014 VFF Volunteer, you will receive the following: a Volunteer badge and lanyard to wear during the Festival; an official VFF Volunteer t-shirt; plus invitations to the Festival Volunteer Kick-Off and the Volunteer Thank You Party (dates and details TBA).  

To facilitate the process of matching volunteers to the Festival needs this year, please take a moment to fill out the form below.  We ask you for your contact information, your interest, and your availability during the Festival weekend.  Our Volunteer Coordinator, Jenny Gardiner, will be in touch with you later this Fall to discuss your availability and assign you a role.

- Theater Teams: ushers, house managers, guest and patron greeters, technical aides

- Party House Staff: must be 21 years or older, assist with setup, decorations, food service, crowd control, and ID checks at festival parties

- Outreach & Education Event Staff: greeters, ushers, will be interacting with young children and families

- Drivers: must be 21; valid drivers license and completion of background check paperwork will be required; vehicles will be provided by VFF

- Marketing and Publicity: distributing posters, Festival programs, etc

Volunteer Agreement
The information that you provide on this form will be used by VFF staff for general planning purposes only.  The VFF's Volunteer Coordinator will contact you in the Fall of 2014 to sign you up for specific volunteer shifts.  If you are not contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator, it means that we have filled our volunteer needs and positions for 2014.  

Based on the information you provide, the Virginia Film Festival staff will contact you ONLY to (1) schedule you as a volunteer for the 2014 Festival or (2) share with you additional Virginia Film Festival volunteer opportunities between now and the 2015 Festival.  We will not share or distribute your information to anyone outside of the Virginia Film Festival or for any means other than the two listed above.
