Congratulations on becoming a SPARK member… so much has changed since you applied!

Many of your proposals were designed for face to face peer-support and will require some imaginative adaptation to accommodate physical distancing over the next 4-6 months. The silver lining is that we have a unique opportunity to forge digital connections with and for our TGD communities – we are even more in need of peer-support than before… and possibly more willing and able to experiment with new ideas.

We have 6 questions for you. We will use your responses to start connecting the dots in our SPARK network, between ‘like’ projects that can support one another, and sharing strategies for meaningful online engagement.

How do you intend to modify your program in the face of COVID? These ideas may be exploratory or wild, but they’ll help us work out what you need and how to help? *

Have you thought about scaling your project beyond your local community? Would TGD folk Victoria wide, interstate or overseas be interested in being involved? Who might these people or groups be? *

If you have not named a TGD facilitator or team, now is the time to do so. If your project takes place in a broader rainbow context, how will you mentor TGD folk so that they are soon in a position to lead? *

We all have different levels of comfort with digital technologies, and limitations of access, privacy etc. We hope to support one another to make the most of what we have. Are you willing to be involved in a buddy system to share hot tips on tools? How do you rate your tech-skills?
