McLean County IL Covid-19 Mutual Aid
Hello! In an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus in Bloomington-Normal and McLean County, we are hoping to assist people who are self-isolating at home.
It is very important for our whole community that people who are at risk of becoming gravely ill from this virus stay safe at home. According to the CDC, this includes anyone over 60 years of age, anyone with underlying health conditions (heart disease, diabetes, lung disease), and anyone with a compromised or suppressed immune system. Additionally, it is extremely important that anyone who is experiencing flu-like symptoms STAY HOME and do not interact with people. If any of these folks do not have family locally, they may need our support to get supplies and groceries they need.
We have set up a phone number for people to call who need errands run, and are looking for people willing to run those errand as well as manage the phone line. If you are needing someone to run an errand for you, or know someone who can use this service please share/call (309) 839-9496.
If you are able to help run errands and/or deliver food to people in need in Bloomington-Normal or McLean County, please fill this out.
THANK YOU!
