Primary Teaching for Mastery (Introductory) 2025/26
Thank you for interest in developing a Teaching for Mastery approach in your school. As part of the next steps, we would like to outline the commitment required (see section 2). To confirm this, we ask that the Headteacher please complete this form. 

ALL starred sections, including TRN information,  must be completed in order for you to submit your application. applications will be rejected where there is missing information and you will be asked to resubmit your application

There are a limited number of places available each year and qualifying schools will be allocated placement on a first come first served basis, using the timestamp recorded when your application is submitted.

FUNDING
Our Teaching for Mastery programme is fully funded by the DfE, so there is no charge for participation.

PRIVACY POLICY
As part of our role in leading the Venn Essex Maths Hub, we collect and hold a certain amount of data about individuals involved in our work.  The data includes name, role (with respect to Hub work), school, email address, TRN * and (in some cases) a telephone number.  

The agreement between us and the Department for Education requires us to monitor and evaluate our work as a Math Hub, and this is the legal basis for the data that we hold, for example, participation in the Work Groups that we coordinate.  

Such data is reported to the NCETM.

*TRN information for Maths Hub participants
The DfE have requested that TRN's (Teacher Reference Numbers) are collected from programme participants to help us understand the reach and impact of work across the Maths Hubs Programme. TRN's are not used in any way for teacher performance management purposes.

Please be aware that incomplete or invalid TRNs will will result in the whole application being rejected.  The person in charge of payroll at your school will be able to provide TRNs if teachers do not know them. Alternatively they can be found using this link: Find a your missing TRN
