Bar
I would support a Bar Upgrade in the near future enlarging the space, including a 10 stool bar facing the lake, all without impacting the seating capacity of the Dining Room.
No responses yet for this question.
If the Bar was enlarged and a 10 stool bar was available, how often would you sit at the bar and have a meal or a drink, or watch a game?
No responses yet for this question.
I think a new and enlarged bar would enhance the overall club experience and create a more welcome environment for members and guests.

Communications
To improve, but simplify the flow of information to members, we plan in 2018 to: send out fewer overall emails to members, but instead email weekly to everyone a simple “quick read” e-newsletter containing all pertinent info; continue the Website and the Facebook page, and drop the monthly newsletter as it becomes redundant. Overall, what is your view of this plan?

“Good times at the PYC” is captured on our Facebook group page. How often do you view per month?

Solvency/Sustainability
In 2018, dues ($300) plus capital assessment ($55) will total $355 per member. If it becomes necessary to increase dues/assessments because of inflation, the need to replace equipment, repairs and/or enhancement of Club amenities, would a dues and/or assessment increase to meet these needs affect your continuing membership?
No responses yet for this question.
If yes, what is your monetary tolerance for increases in dues/assessment fees to keep the club functional, safe and up to date?

Many similar Clubs require a member to spend an annual minimum for food and/or drink. Would you be in favor of a per member seasonal minimum spending requirement at the Club for food and drink?

Centennial Fund: The Centennial Fund has been established by the PYC to develop over time a substantial capital reserve fund based on voluntary member gifts to the club. Do you support this concept of building up a “rainy day fund” to serve the future financial needs of the PYC?
No responses yet for this question.
Volunteerism
Our Club cannot function without members stepping up to take on leadership roles (flag officers, board, over 20 committees) and event-specific volunteer tasks (Thursday Night Dinners, Spring Clean Up Day, Back from the Mac, etc.) How would you best characterize your PYC volunteerism? (Choose one)

The PYC’s Design Committee has created Interior Design and Architectural Design Standards over the past 3 years. All interior specifications are now standardized and catalogued. They include items such as paint colors, lighting, flooring, furniture, furniture upholstery, art frames, and award plaques. Would you support a furniture upgrade for the North Deck similar to the improvements on the South Deck?

There are challenges to our existing 100+ year old building. At some point demands on our kitchen will require upgrades to equipment, ventilation, and traffic flow. The building will require structural changes to accommodate any upgrade improvements. Would you support a Planning Committee study to evaluate options to deal with this situation?
