We are looking for THE design for our Creative Arts Initiative next 2025-2026 Heart Sculpture

If you want your art to be publicly showcased this is a great opportunity for local artists!

The theme for 2025-2026 is "Overcoming”

🎨 Submissions of artist rendering / proposal DUE between OCTOBER 15 & NOVEMBER 15

🎨 All renderings submitted must be 8x11 and ready to be hung

🎨 REMINDER: consider how your design will cover BOTH sides of the 4 foot wide heart sculpture

🎨 The Review Panel Judging will occur by November 17th

🎨 The heart form will be delivered to the artist by November 20th

🎨 Half $ AWARD will be paid on November 20th

🎨 Painted heart is due at Killeen Creators by March 15, sealed & ready

🎨 The heart will then be installed by Killeen Creators and City staff for unveiling at the Celebrate Killeen festival in April!

🎨 Final payment paid once City has completed approval process

🎨 Renderings that are hangable will be displayed in April at Frames & Things for the Celebrate Killeen festival and several weeks after
