Motivating and Hindering Factors to Physical Activity

You are invited to participate in the study [ Motivating and hindering factors for physical activity ]. The study is conducted as part of our education within the naprapath program at the Scandinavian College of Naprapathic Manual Medicine.

The study aims to investigate what motivates and hinders people of different ages and genders from engaging in physical activity.

Those who choose to participate in the study will answer the survey questions by indicating the extent to which you believe the statements agree with you on a Likert scale between 1-7.

The survey "motivational factors" is based on an earlier metric done with the same name that consisted of only three motives (Frederick & Ryan, 1993). The longer version was introduced and validated later by Ryan, Frederick, Lepes, Rubio, Sheldon, 1997).

The survey "hindering factors" is a revision of an earlier measure done by (MTUAM: Josefsson, 2005).

Participation in this study will be anonymous and the survey you complete will be completely anonymous. No personal data will be collected or processed in this study.
