Healing House - Make our House a Home Team
Healing House, located at 303 Lathrop Street in Madison, is an 8 bed facility, providing 24/7 recuperative care by medically trained staff and volunteers for up to 28 days. Healing House will provide clients with three meals a day, child care assistance and case management to end the cycle of homelessness.

Healing House Make our House a Home Team members are responsible for
• Maintaining a clean and safe atmosphere for Healing House guests (helping with meal preparation and clean up, doing laundry, changing linens in guest rooms, sweeping, mopping, and other household cleaning)
• Engaging with Healing House guests, both adults and youth, on a regular basis (Talking, socializing, helping youth with homework, rocking babies, playing with toddlers, etc.)
• Supporting Healing House staff as needed (reporting supply/food inventory, for example)

Volunteers are placed each term, January-June and July-December, with the opportunity to renew/continue.
