I understand that COVID-19 is impacting every aspect of my work, my life, my family, my friends, my colleagues and my neighbors. As we enter the Winter season of 2020, there is a major concern that COVID-19 cases will grow to the point that could overwhelm our already severely impacted health system.

As a professional and/or student in the planning field, I am committed to the well-being of my community by leading by example in containing the spread of COVID-19. As such, in solidarity with our essential workers, my community and those impacted, I am offering to protect myself and others by following the most basic and credible public health guidelines until they are not officially needed. They include:

1. Wear a face mask
2. Observe physical distancing
3. Wash my hands regularly
4. Avoid unnecessary trips
5. Avoid organizing or attending unnecessary gatherings
6. Practicing mindfulness and empathy
7. Encourage others to do the same

By signing this pledge I understand that:
1. I will hold myself accountable for my actions towards containing the spread of COVID-19.
2. My name will be published along with other pledge's signatories on the Planners4Health website.
3. My e-mail will be used exclusively to receive updates from Planners4Health.
4. Any comments I share, may be published at the discretion of Planners4Health.
