I. SAFETY. Any “Little Sib” that comes to campus for this weekend will be accompanied by a Bluffton student and/or guardian at all times. Any registrant for this weekend will assume responsibility for this off-campus guest for the duration of their campus visit, including making proper arrangements for housing and food. It is understood that any off-campus guest of an undergraduate student is subject to the same campus policies and expectations of the students of Bluffton University. If there are any additional safety needs for this student (such as allergies) that we should be made aware of, it is understood that that information will be provided in the appropriate space in the registration application below.
II. HOUSING. Due to the open hours policy, any “Little Sib” over the age of 10 that requires overnight housing is required to stay in the room of a student of the same sex - whether that is with you or with a friend. It is understood that any off-campus guest of an undergraduate student is subject to the same campus policies and expectations of the students of Bluffton University, including housing regulations. Siblings under the age of 10 may stay in the room of their older sibling, regardless of gender.
i.e. If the student and little sib are not the same gender, and the sibling is over the age of 10, the student must arrange for housing with a friend of the same gender as the little sib.
III. FOOD. Students are encouraged to use their meal plans to accommodate any “Little Sib” that visits campus, but are not required to do so. Any off-campus meals that are purchased are the responsibility of the host student.
