VCU and VCU Health continue to monitor and plan for the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Currently, the university plans to host VCU Commencement, the universitywide ceremony, on Saturday, May 14. Please keep in mind that this guidance is subject to change as this situation evolves. The university will continue evaluating university events, and VCU Commencement will be included in that evaluation. Any significant changes to VCU Commencement will be shared through email, social media, the university’s Together website, this website and other university communications.

Graduating students, please complete the form below to register your attendance and reserve your seat at the universitywide ceremony. Please note: Seating is limited. After you register, a confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided above. To change your registration, please click "edit response" in the confirmation email.

The graduates receiving the following degrees will communicate their attendance to the universitywide ceremony with their respective schools and will NOT NEED TO COMPLETE this form:

Graduating students earning a master's degree from the da Vinci Center for Innovation should choose "Graduate School" in the list below. Those receiving certificates from the da Vinci Center for Innovation should choose the school or college relative to their major in the list below.
This year we have a unique opportunity for you to share your graduation photos with us so that we can display them for your family and friends during our in-person and virtual celebrations.

Graduates should arrive at the Greater Richmond Convention Center by 9 a.m. Graduates should proceed to the line-up area at the Fifth and Marshall entrance of the Ballroom Pavilion of GRCC. Once inside, follow the signs located throughout directing graduates to the Grand Ballroom.

***Be cautious wearing tall heels. You’ll be navigating stairs and escalators, so comfortable footwear is highly recommended.

***Graduates, if you arrive after 9:30 a.m., you may be unable to sit with your school.

For the universitywide ceremony, tickets for guests are not required and seating is available on a first come, first served basis. There is no reserved seating. For your family and friends, GRCC doors will open at 8:30 a.m. Guests should enter at the Third and Marshall or Fifth and Marshall entrances to the Exhibit Hall Pavilion of GRCC.
