Essay:  What is character?  (must be pleged....On my honor I have neither given nor received help on this essay) *
Our goal as a club is to promote character.  What is your character?  Define what character means to you.  What or who in your life shaped your character?  What kind of character do YOU have?  Do you have a strong "moral compass"?  Do you always do what is right?  Or, do you waiver from doing the right thing more than you would like?  Are you sometimes unsure of what the right thing to do is?  Cite examples.  Finally tell whether you think we are having a character crisis in America today.  Whatever your viewpoint, cite two examples of people or events to back up your opinion.  What as a club can we do to make a difference in our school?  If you don't believe character is a problem please suggest something else more important we could focus on as a club to help our school and community.
