About Us:
The Studio is a startup Pop Culture store that serves a Cafe and Retail Style Experience. We are currently in the process of opening a new location/pop-up store in Skeldon/Corriverton. Here at The Studio, we embrace Pop Culture and want to offer our customer a blend of fun in person, and digital experience with the use of technology. We believe a cafe type of environment brings about interesting conversations for niche communities to have reviews, discussion, and share their love for pop culture in whatever form it may take. That is why we offer to foster an environment that would embellish such engagement by offering products, drinks, food, entertainment, digital, and other experiences.
Your Role:
You will be the Store Management Associate. You enjoy engaging with people, serving them, and ensuring they have a fulfilled experience as being part of The Studio's customer. You would be operating the Cafe, making various drinks such as coffee and tea, managing emails, handling customer queries/questions, keeping inventory stock, ensuring the store is operating safely, and maintain a clean environment. You will also embrace technology for documenting receipts, invoices, customer data entries, and sales. You will also need to understand Pop Culture, keeping up with current material and trends such as Anime, Memes, Characters, Popular Shows, and Movies. You will be working in a startup environment, and the business will go through some growing pains throughout; circumstances and situations may be unpredictable as well as day to day activities. You must be willing to adapt for this role.

Entry Level
Position is Part-Time hourly at a rate of GYD $347.00.
Work hours are 20 - 25 hours a week

Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving food and drinks, including but not limited to coffee, fruit drinks, and tea.
- Learn Cafe's Product/Menu's items and pricing.
- Greeting customers, answering questions, and making suggestions.
- Ensuring the store is safe and hygienic, including cleaning chairs and tables, washing dishes, utensils, tools, and appliances.
- Able to create custom product packaging which includes but not limited to labels, logos, and text for Cups, Kraft Bags, etc.
- Keeping the store is stocked and organized, including product displays, and service counters.
- Anticipating customer needs and communicating issues with transparency to the store manager/owner.
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports of but not limited to Sales, Customer Info, Receipts, and Inventory.
- Close out store ensuring that: appliances, air conditioner, electronics, monitors, computers, TVs, and chargers are turned off (*Some exclusions will apply to certain devices to be left on*), doors, windows and gates are properly closed, and report cash balance end of day.
- Able to clock in and out of work using iPad OS.
- Have intermediate skill level in English.
- Able to deescalate customers' frustration and provide a solution.
- Willingness and ability to learn and use (must) Cashier System.
- Willingness and ability to learn and use (must) (Point of Sale) System.
- Able to navigate website.
- Able to use Gmail, Facebook, and Instagram.
