Call for OCTOPUS Participation 2026

Join the OCTOPUS Project and contribute to our resource collection! Participants can earn a stipend of $500 to create/adapt and publish an OCTOPUS resource.

OCTOPUS (Open Collaboration for Transformative Open Pedagogy to support Undergraduate Open Science Education) is fundamentally about improving undergraduate science education through the broad integration of the practices and possibilities of Open Science into the STEM curriculum, using Open Pedagogy as a primary lever. We are excited to invite you to participate in this work and to support you to contribute your own open science and open pedagogy teaching resources to our collection.

  2. Join the OCTOPUS group: see How to Join. (Becoming a member is free and ad-free).
  3. Use this guide to create/revise your resource: Shared Guide to Creating an OCTOPUS resource
  4. Attend 2 or 3 meetings or office hours to support your resource construction.
  5. Upload your finalized resource by Nov 1, 2026.
