The Stan Maciak Challenge
Stan Maciak was a keen cyclist and a dedicated member of Didcot Phoenix Cycling Club. During his time at the club Stan competed in all disciplines of cycling, holding several club trophies and records. He also encouraged new riders to take up racing for the first time and mentored them. Tragically, Stan's life was cut short in a track-cycling accident at Newport Velodrome.

To honour Stan’s time spent with DPCC, the club established The Stan Maciak Challenge to recognise riders that participate and perform in cycling events of all disciplines. To win the challenge, club members must have the stamina and desire to compete and help at events throughout the cycling season.

Club members must claim points across the year for participating in, helping and organising events. The club member with the most points at the end of the season win the Stan Maciak Trophy at the Club Awards Dinner.

The following form is used to register your participation, performance, organisation or support for events that you take part in. These data will be used to determine Stan Maciak Challenge rankings, as well as being used to demonstrate the breadth of club participation in events. Please add in the details of your activities throughout the year within a month of completing the event.

If the event results aren't published on the web, please retain proof of completion so we can verify your claim...or keep a grubby receipt from an isolated petrol station, your choice!
