When Autumn Dreams is a joint compilation from Oceangazer Records and Through The Trees Records, inspired by the quiet feeling of autumn settling in. Cooler mornings, golden leaves, soft light through the window, and the reflective feeling that comes with the changing of the season. It’s about slowing down, letting go, and gently moving forward.
The release will drop on World Dream Day, an annual global holiday celebrated every September 25th that encourages people to pause, reflect, and dream about what comes next. For this compilation, we’re approaching that idea in a lofi way with quiet reflection, peaceful change, and the small dreams we carry into a new season.
We’re looking for warm, organic lofi that feels cozy, nostalgic, and emotionally grounded. Tracks should work well for slow mornings, reading, relaxed focus, light work, or taking a quiet walk while the season changes.
The energy should sit slightly above sleepy lofi. Calm, gentle, and unhurried, but still with enough movement and melody to keep the listener engaged. Soft piano, felt keys, Rhodes, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, warm bass, subtle textures, and natural-sounding drums are all good fits. Think music someone could leave on during a slow autumn morning while the light changes, the air cools, and the day begins quietly.
