Safety clinics for independent journalists will be on offer at this year's International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Italy on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th April, 2022.

The 50 minute clinics can cover:

- physical safety and risk assessment
- digital security and surveillance
- online harassment
- legal safety and preparedness
- psychological safety and trauma management.

The clinics are confidential and tailored to the individual needs of participants. They are suitable for independent journalists, photographers and filmmakers at all stages of their career and are particularly useful for those who are looking for guidance on a specific issue, assignment, story or situation.

Please note that selected participants will be paired with a suitable advisor based on the information provided in their application.

The majority of the clinics will be conducted in English, with a limited number available in Spanish, French and Arabic. Date and time slot to be allocated on selection.
