Content Warning

Cats Are Sluts is a modern-day retelling of Edgar Allan Poe's short horror story "The Black Cat." It is an adult magical realist domestic thriller novel that includes depictions of domestic violence, sexual coercion, spousal rape, verbal abuse, emotional abuse, animal cruelty, addiction, alcohol misuse, and chronic pain/disability, as well as consensual sexual situations that occur on-page. Please prioritize self-care when deciding whether or not to continue with this application. (No hard feelings—the last thing I want is for my readers to be triggered.)

Timeline

Digital ebook copies will be distributed via BookFunnel on August 1st, 2026. I expect to ship physical copies by mid-August, and will confirm the ship date via email ASAP.
