Once you complete this form and press submit, you will receive an email that will contain a link to one time volunteer opportunities. Please sign up at that link. If you’re interested in volunteering on a weekly basis, we asked you to sign up on the one time volunteer link and volunteer 4 to 5 times to make sure you feel it is a good fit for yourself. If you volunteer 4 or 5 times and you’d like to volunteer on a weekly basis, please see Elissa or Leslie and we can go through the further steps with you to be a weekly volunteer, such as a background check, etc.

Background Check *
It is the policy of Angels Community Outreach to screen/background check all prospective volunteers. This information is confidential and we use a reputable firm to conduct the checks. While we try to place every applicant, we reserve the right to select applicants according to our needs and criteria. You will be receiving a separate email from the firm conducting the background checks and you will be asked to follow their prompts.  Do you understand and agree?

I hereby authorize Angels Community Outreach to contact the above named references and conduct a background check to establish my suitability as a volunteer and I hereby release them and their company from all liability for any damage for issuing the same. I further authorize the human resource department to maintain this information in their records and absolve from liability.

I understand and respect the confidential nature of the information I might have access to in performing my volunteer duties for the organization.  I understand this release discharges Angels Outreach from any liability or claim that I as a volunteer may have against Angels Outreach with respect to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death or property damage that may result from volunteer activities, whether caused by the negligence or otherwise.

All volunteers will have a 30 day introductory period after which we will sit down with the volunteer and mutually agree if it is a good fit.
