*Crisis Line Volunteers answer calls on our 24-hour crisis line*
The questions asked provide us with invaluable information that will enable us to fulfil our areas of need as a centre. We ask that you answer each question as thoroughly as you can. We mostly want to know a bit about you, what your interests are, and what brings you to us at this time in your life - it's not a test!
All applicants must attend a mandatory orientation session on Saturday March 3rd. We will contact all applicants with the details of this orientation by the end of February. --Please note that we DO NOT release the collected information to anyone. We only save your contact information if you are selected as a volunteer counsellor and give us your permission to do so.
If you have any questions or concerns about the this form or the position of crisis line volunteer, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you so much for your interest in this amazing, hard, and revolutionary work. We are so excited to build with you. --This work is being held on the territory of the Huron-Wendat and Petun First Nations, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. In doing the work of survival, we strive to centre the survival of Indigenous community members so that we may thrive together in solidarity.
