ULCON 2019 Call for proposals
Urban Librarians Conference
April 12, 2019
Brooklyn, NY

The Library as Place: Do you see the library as the ultimate temple of knowledge, a community common ground, a university for all, a safe haven for children, or a place so wide open that it could never truly be called safe but is ever challenging and changing. The theme for the 2019 Urban Librarians Conference is “Library as Place” and we are looking for speakers who can discuss how they have used the physical space of the library in interesting and dynamic ways. Have you made your library a space of original content creation? Did you take a section of the library that was being underutilized and change it up to better serve your community? Do you have radical ideas about what the library could be? We want to hear about it! Please fill out the following form and send us your proposal today!
