Gisborne Central School 150 Jubilee Registration
Plans for the events are all go, providing that pesky Covid doesn’t flare up too much.

Friday night, 8th April, will be a chance to mix and mingle with drinks and a few nibbles at school.

Saturday is the big day! There will be a formal welcome at school followed by tours around the school, a chance to look at memorabilia, and have some reunion photos.
Saturday evening, we’ll reconvene at the Poverty Bay Golf Club for a 3 course meal, dancing, and more opportunities to mix and mingle. The bar will be open for drinks purchases.

There is nothing formal planned for Sunday, although I’m sure many will reconnect again over brunch at one of the cafe’s in town.

At the end of this month Gisborne moves into the Orange under the traffic light system. This means that, providing everyone has their vaccine pass, there will be no restrictions on the number of people we can have at the events at school.
At the golf course, we would be limited by the physical space. This would be approximately 140 people. If we get larger numbers than that commit to attending, we would look for a larger venue that would suit our needs.
