Museum sector in India is undergoing a process of renewal and transformation. So far, the focus is on visitor engagement, outreach programmes, accessibility, infrastructure, and so on. Of all the drivers, one question that has rarely been assessed is what museums mean to Indians? What is their understanding of museums?

Centre for Museums, an initiative of INDICA and Cultre is conducting this survey to understand the perception of Indians when we discuss museums. Further, discovering the factors that influence their decision of visiting a museum.

This questionnaire takes 5-10 minutes to complete.
