BRUJAS THEORY DOCUMENT WORKSHOP
Welcome to BRUJAS Theory Document Workshop Registration ! <333 ! This is so exciting !

BRUJAS seeks liberation through collective theory and action. We are exploring our experiences as media subjects and brave personalities in a moment of declining welfare and the rising exhibition of oppression. In the early 2000's hundreds of skateboarding related campaigns borrowed from our community and brand, starting in the 1970's thousands of women were kicked off welfare, demonstrating the development of narratives that support capitalism. It seems that women and their contributions to society are routinely employed as commodities for capital they never receive. In the 13th century hundreds of thousands of women were burned during witch trials in the transition from feudalism to capitalism. BRUJAS Theory explores public discipline, exploitation, commons and enclosures, the family, inside and outside, and the underground and the mainstream, in order to imagine a pre-figurative world where BRUJAS thrive. Tune into our first BRUJAS Theory document workshop of 2024 on Radio Bonita, Thursday, May 2nd 6PM Est.
