Thank you for your interest in being a mentor for SVCC students.  WISE (Women in Search of Excellence) is a dynamic, student-centered organization that matches SVCC students with a female SVCC faculty or staff member to promote students' academic and personal success.  Student members of WISE will meet regularly with a mentor and attend success workshops throughout the academic year with the goal of striving and attaining their personal best selves.

I would like to become a mentor. I can commit to meeting with my mentee 2 times a month and send texts/emails at important times during the semester such as mid-terms and finals.  I can commit to Fall and Spring semester. *
Our goal is to provide the mentees with some workshops.  Would you be willing to discuss your path to educational or professional success with the group? *
WISE will have meetings and success workshops regularly. Some will be open forums for students to discuss issues/concerns/ successes with the entire group.  Mentors are invited to attend workshops (time/day TBA). Do you have any suggestions for speakers/topics for these workshops?
Do you have any questions?
