2025 Block of Art Festival Artist Registration

Join us in Pottsville, PA on May 3rd as we celebrate the 17th annual Block of Art! 

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on North Centre Street between Arch Street and Laurel Boulevard. Unlike the last few years, the 2025 Festival will not be a closed-street event.
The Festival's main art gallery will be at the Majestic Theater, a second art gallery will be on the first floor of the Schuylkill County Historical Society featuring Allied Artist members, and additional art wil be on display at businesses in the area. 

-  No entry fee is required. If your artwork is for sale a 20% commission will be applied.

-  The Block of Art reserves the right to reject any art submitted that is not keeping with the nature of the event.

-  After registration is accepted by Block of Art, artist will be contacted to arrange a drop-off place and time for the art.

-  No artwork will be accepted for display in the galleries on the day of the event.

-  Each artist may register up to 2 pieces of art for display. If there is space available after registration has closed, registered artists may be contacted and asked if they have additional art they would like to display.

-  The artist must be 16 years of age or older.

-  Art must have clear ownership by person submitting it.

-  Each piece of art must be "ready to hang" / wired on back. A very limited number of easels will be available.

Please complete this form which will be submitted to block.of.art@gmail.com.  The Block of Art committee reserves the right not to accept registrations after April 18th.

Art Pick-up will be the weekend after the event unless otherwise announced on the Block of Art Facebook page, @BOAPottsvillePA.

Block of Art is an unincorporated association, and a sponsored project of Schuylkill Connects, a 501c3 organization. Connects serves as bookkeeper, providing accounting and financial support as well as bill pay services for Block of Art.

1. The Artist verifies that the work that is submitted is property of the artist.
2. The art submitted will be held by Block of Art from the drop off date until the assigned pick up date unless it is sold during the street festival.
3. Block of art will not be held responsible for any damage the art incurs while the art is in Block of Art’s possession.
4. Promotion of the art may include photographs of the art.
5. Block of Art will decide on the location of your artwork within the space/gallery.
6. All art will be identified with the artist’s name and title of the art
7. Prices on all art will be set by the artist
8. There will be a 20% commission on all art sold through the Block of Art unless other arrangements are made.
9. The artist will receive payment for any sales collected by Block of Art from Schuylkill Connects, as soon as they are able to process them (hopefully within three weeks but cannot guarantee that).
10. After a 30 day period uncollected artwork will be considered a donation and will become property of Block of Art.
