Cleveland Jazz Orchestra Youth Jazz Orchestra Camp
Under the direction of CJO saxophonist Brad Wagner (and aided by many CJO members), The CJO will host a Youth Jazz Orchestra Camp June 12-16 at the Brecksville United Methodist Church. A final concert will be given by the group w/ the CJO Sextet. In addition to rehearsing, performing and working w/ CJO members, attendees will have classes on jazz theory, history and improvisation. This form is due by March 31, and the cost of the camp is $350 (due when selected).

Primary Instrument (include yrs played, other information about your playing experience outside of school performances). Saxophones-list the saxes you own and if you have access to a baritone. Please also list any doubles (fl, cl, etc). Trumpets-include range information, whether you have access to a flugelhorn. Trombones-include range information, whether you have access to/experience w/ bass trombone. Pianists-will be required to bring their own keyboard, amp and keyboard stand. Bassists-will be required to bring their own bass and amp, let us know if you play acoustic and/or electric bass. Guitarists-will be required to bring their own guitar and amp, let us know what style/model guitar and amp you own. Drummers-will be required to bring their own kit and cymbals.
