Whilst  reading various threads on social media and below the line comments in late 2016 I realised  that many Preston citizens are keen to help people in need when they learn of their situations but don't always know where to go to find out how to do so.   I began searching online and realised it's not always easy to find what you are looking for.

So, please help me compile a list of online links.  

I'm looking for links to self help groups, local charities, long term fundraisers for local causes, etc.  Basically,  if the organisation/group exists to support people in a time of need or to foster community cohesion then it fits the idea that Preston Cares - and should be on the list.
