MATC Acctg Lab Tutoring Agreement
At MATC Accounting Labs, walk-in tutoring represents a partnership between students and peer tutors. Because we consider this relationship a partnership, you have certain responsibilities. Please read the following items and indicate your agreement by checking in the appropriate location. Students who elect not to agree will be ineligible for tutoring services.

Complete all reading assignments and attempt as much of the assignment as  possible on your own before meeting with your tutor. *

I need to be prepared for every tutoring session. I will not ask my tutor to teach material I have not yet attempted to understand myself. *

I will not ask nor do I expect my tutor to do my work for me. (Including projects) I understand my tutor can explain material, ask questions to verify my understanding, assist me with improving my study skills, direct me to additional resources, highlight errors, and/or provide me additional exercises/assignments as appropriate. *

I will not bring in any type of assessment (exam) to my tutor and ask for help.  Tutors cannot assist with exams. *
