Touch Specialist Partial Work Trade Position Application 2023
Thank you for your interest in a Touch Specialist Training program Partial Work Trade Position!

We have 3 positions designed for Full Program participants, estimated 40-50 hours of work for each position, in exchange for a reduced tuition (cost: $750). These positions will support our time together and the future of the program.

  • Zoom Tech
  • Video Archivist
  • Grant Writer/Resource Transfer Coordinator

DETAILS
Partial Work Trade Position applications are received on a rolling basis. Applications are open until June 28 unless we fill the positions sooner.  We will respond within 7 days of your application and confirm all Partial Work Trade Positions by August 7, 2023. You may apply for any or all of the positions.

Zoom Tech (est. 40-50 hours)
Tell us about why you are interested in this position and why you may be well suited for it. 

The Zoom Tech holds down the online zoom classes on Tuesday evenings for all 3 Class Series. Sets up breakout rooms as needed. Meets with the team briefly before the class to understand media sharing needs for that day. Experience with breakout rooms, screen sharing, and sound sharing desired. This might be you if you have consistent internet access or if you do well with multi-tasking to focus.
Video Archivist (est. 40-50 hours)
Tell us about why you are interested in this position and why you may be well suited for it. 

Reviews class footage and captures memorable quotes and video clips; potentially using these clips to create a video about the program, in collaboration with the team, if interested. Basic video editing skills desired. This may be you if you do well with processing information after the fact or enjoy slowing down with the content.
Grant Writer/Resource Transfer Coordinator (est. 40-50 hours) Tell us about why you are interested in this position and why you may be well suited for it. 
 Researches and, in collaboration with the team, applies for grants and funding for the first People of the Global Majority (PGM) Touch Specialist Cohort. This may be you if you have grant writing experience or are a passionate internet scourer.
