Parent Commissioning Class Spring 2024
This gathering is a special opportunity for anyone who has participated in a Child Dedication in the past and is required for anyone who plans on attending the upcoming Child Dedication on April 21, 2024. We believe that those who participate in both the parent commissions class and the child dedication will have the best experience.

Parent Commissioning Class is a more in-depth opportunity to learn more about Severn Run, learn more about our Kids Ministry and Student Ministry, and discover the resources we offer to help families be faith leaders at home. We believe that home is the first mission field, meaning parents and guardians are the primary disciple makers and faith leaders to their children. We want to use this time together to give information, inspiration, and tools to encourage you and your family as you grow together.

Parent Commissioning Class is a 45-60 minute time for parents to join us for food, coffee, presentation, discussion, and meeting other families. This experience will take place on April 7th during the 11:00 am service . Your kids of all ages are invited to enjoy Kids Ministry during this time, and babies are welcome to stay with their parents if you prefer not to send them to the nursery. You will be able to attend a worship service during one hour and then attend the Parent Commissioning during the other, and your kids are welcome to stay in Kids Ministry for both.
