UALR Holiday Sale Form Fall 2025
For this year's event, we are hosting a Holiday Sale and Open House!

HOLIDAY SALE and OPEN HOUSE
Current art majors, faculty or staff members, and/or alumni of the School of Art and Design are eligible to participate.

      Friday, November 7, 3:00 - 8:00pm
   
MANDATORY SALE MEETING
Artist Participants who are staffing a table and selling their artwork are required to attend AT LEAST ONE of the following mandatory meetings: 
  • October 14 at 12:15 pm in Lecture Hall 101 
  • October 16 at 5:15 pm in Lecture Hall 101

   At these meetings, the following important information will be discussed:
  • Sales: processing payments, sales tax, shipping, financial information, and marketing.
  • Presentation: table set-up, signage/branding, 2D and 3D professionalism, packing and unpacking set-up, and packaging purchases for clients.

GOALS OF THIS EVENT:
  • provide mentorship opportunities between faculty and students
  • teach art majors professionalism related to art sales, client interactions, and discussing one's artwork
  • learn how to price one's artwork appropriately, including the relevance of varying price points
  • learn how to collect and manage art sale information, including building a client list, promoting yourself, managing sales and money, documenting / archiving sold artwork, handling taxes, understanding copyright issues, etc.
  • hone networking skills, including understanding the importance of art-related connections
  • enhance art-related communication skills
  • promote camaraderie within the School of Art and Design
  • have fun!
If you plan to participate in this year's Holiday Sale and Open House, please complete the form below by Tuesday October 7th at 11:59 pm. 

When you hit "submit," a copy of this form will be emailed to you. If you need to review the guidelines and goals of the sale, you will be able to find a copy in your email folder. All participating artists will check in between 12:45pm and 1pm in the Lobby with a designated Holiday Sale Committee Representative. They must begin table set up by 1:00pm and conclude set up by 2:15pm. (The student competitive award ceremony will begin in the lobby at 2:30pm, and then at 3:00pm everyone will break away to begin shopping!)

All participating artists must stay for the duration of the sale (3 - 8 pm) and clean up completely, returning classroom to their original arrangements. Participating Artists must check out with a designated Holiday Sale Committee Representative prior to leaving. *
